Last Temptation of Christ got distro, i'm pretty sure this will too, and i intend to see it when it does. sounds like a quiet, lovely film.
as to the producer who dissed my country...he can sod off.

Date: 2009-09-15 09:21 pm (UTC)`course it is an area that can be looked at. That movie you mentioned in another post called "legion?" Religious peoples of all stripes tend to not want to fill in the blanks about the actual nature of the supernatural... if you think about it... most of Revelation is pretty damn scary.
Same with most religious movies... there is lots out there to look at, but only if you make it worth seeing.

Date: 2009-09-15 09:44 pm (UTC)didn't see Mel's film; mostly on accounta i don't speak Aramaic, but also because i'm not into torture porn. that format doesn't tell me a story...it lectures me with literal torture, in a dead foreign language, for several hours. no thanks.
Legion, otoh, looks interesting...though, could be a tad extra graphic with the violence, maybe. *shrugs*
re people and blanks; yes, absolutely.
