It is kinda stark to me when I talk to reasonable learned people who absolutely give Islam a pass, but endlessly critique their own 'depraved' religion... They are unwilling to think. At All. I can't see it as anything except self-loathing self-pity, but there is probably some name for it. It seems never to end. So, I wonder how those writers feel now that some rich kid from Nigeria tried to kill an inbound plane. They'll prolly make some kind of excuse.

i think i would have been less wtf? if they hadn't tied the two eps so specifically to Christmas, and the Judeo-Christian God. because you cannot tell me that any of them would have the spine, or inclination, to write an episode where they had an Islamofascist bad guy, and free reign in the dialogue to m-f either Mohammed or Allah.

they certainly don't have the cajones to pay in blood if they did write about Mohammed. Or you could just not deal in religion like that, since you aren't actually making any kind of bold statement attacking religions that will just forgive you for being ignorant bastards...
