yeah, Durbin, what an idiot... I guess just like other forms of marketing, politicos just feel the need to shout the loudest, or be the most shocking. Not that I myself am not full-gonzo conflicted by the goings on at gtmo [Terrorists vs. basic due process] but the delineation is easy enough for even a politician to get: PolPot tortured you to death. All the comparisons made were for places that were not as interested in the info... where I think that may be the main point of gtmo, to get intel, and then evidence for prosecution, last because of the revenge factor of the captives. The last issue is the most difficult for any justice system anywhere to handle...
I just wonder sometimes what politicians are thinking... what's that Samuel Clemens saying? better to be silent and thought a fool then to say something and prove it... something like that...
