They do that because they think kids are stupid. Seriously, you have no idea how many people I have to tell yes, your INFANT is upset because you are, or your kids already KNOW dad is leaving. Talk to them, they don't know why; they will make shit up so that's it's all their fault if you don't give them the real reason. ARGH!
